Who We Serve:

Our clientele are smart individuals who recognize the value of great service and expect quality care regardless the cost. Having a baby is hard work so you deserve to be pampered. We’ve been there, and we know the toll this season can take on your mind, heart, and body. We want to help families find their new rhythm. It is said that having a baby is the equivalent of running a 26 mile marathon. I can attest to that because I ran my first and only marathon. My body was so so tired after the run it was a grueling experience. Your body will be so tired after giving birth, I can also attest to that and it felt every bit like I ran 26 miles without running. I never knew what exhaustion was until I gave birth. At least I could go to sleep after I ran the marathon. When I wanted to sleep after giving birth, I couldn’t because my baby had to eat continually every 2-3 hours. This is why you are going to need additional help, especially in the early days after giving birth. Not a day goes by when I tell someone what I do and they say I wish I had you when I gave birth. What If you had someone to help you at home during the following days and weeks after giving birth? Wouldn’t that be fantastic? Below is a typical day you might experience when you invite us into your home overnight or during the day.

What Is Your Biggest Challenge About Being A New Parent?

. Getting Enough Sleep

. Caring For A New Baby

. Finding Time For Myself

. Balancing Home, Work & Baby

. Breastfeeding Challenges

. Being A Good Parent

Imagine If you Hired One Of Us

  • 10PM - You say goodnight to your sweet baby after a conversation with your postpartum doula that lifted your spirits and assured you that you are the best mama. You go drift off to sleep easily knowing that she will care for your baby with gentleness and attentiveness so that you can get some much needed rest.

  • 6 AM - You wake to the smell of baked bread or freshly brewed coffee while you slowly rise from a first deep peaceful overnight sleep since the birth of your baby. Your baby had been keeping you up at night so you hired Babymoon Concierge to help you at night at home. You’re a new mother and having educated support calms your nerves as you prepare for on maternity leave to end soon.

  • 8 AM - Your baby is awakened for the morning, changed & brought to you for breastfeeding or bottle fed by an experienced newborn care specialist, night nanny, or postpartum doula. You hug the baby close because you missed them through the night while they slept.

  • 9:30 AM - You have chosen to breastfeed and this journey started off strong as a gently reassuring hand correctly positions, supports your latch & encourages bonding with your babies.

  • 10 AM - You wave goodbye to the much-appreciated support, and know that the tidbits of information she left you with— sleep schedules, feeding times, newborn hygiene— will help you care for your baby another day.

What is the Difference?

  • Postpartum doula is someone who helps the mother with the many challenges she might have after giving birth. They are there to educate and to be a friend giving emotional support within the weeks and months after the birth

This roll was traditionally a family member but with many people living away from family members it is now a paid position.

This person maintains the home and family needs while the mother is healing from the birth. They also have a great resource of information should the parents need outside help

    • Are equipped to meet the needs of the mama

    • Provide companionship, errands.

    • Offer light housekeeping, laundry support, and meal preparation

    • Our Postpartum Doulas are certified in Adult and Infant First AID/CPR/AED

  • A newborn care speciaisit is a person who has gone thought extensive specilaized training in newborn care and has extensive experience on caring for infants. A newborn care specialist is a proactive caregiver and does not work under the direction of the parent. Their knowledge cover a large multiude of issues such as breastfeeding, scheduling, healthy sleep habits, ailments, proper swaddling and soothing techniques.

A NCS should be experienced with multiples and babies with special needs. They are usually with families up to 4 months and provide families with ongoing support day or night. Some also can work 24/7 shifts.

    • Educate parents on newborn care

    • Equipped to care for all of baby’s needs

    • Provide sleep support for the baby and help develop a sleep schedule as baby grows

  • A night nanny(intern) refers to a person who tends to the baby’s needs during the night.

The extent of their newborn care education is limited during the training phase. They are there to provide quality sleep for parents. A night nanny is a reactive caregiver that acts under the direction of the parent. Typically parents do not get much education from them because they are new to the field.

  • Babysitter is a person who takes care of babies or children while their parents are away from home. Babysitters can have long tenures with families like nannies, but babysitters typically do not live-in with families. Sitters are more so an external service with a person hired to come in the living space with shorter working hours.

A babysitter, also known as a sitter, is hired by a parent, grandparent, or guardian to care for a child temporarily. They may look after children of all ages and are usually paid per hour. Their work schedule can be consistent — whether part-time or full-time — or vary as needed.

Is There a Payment Difference Between a PPD or NCS who Is Certified vs Non-Certified?
Our Team Members
Doulas And Newborn Specialists who are certified may cost more because you are getting someone who has taken the time to pay and enroll for trainings so that they can be an expert in their field. Certifications equal knowledge and expertise. If they are certified they are vetted by a governing group that they are members of, take bi-yearly examinations and pay memberships to be accountable. We keep record of all certifications and will show documentation upon request.
